All the details, no guessing games. Our frequently asked questions cover the things you need to know before checking out.

Q: "I placed multiple orders.  Will you combine shipping?"

Negative.  My local USPS has requested I combine orders into fewer boxes if possible.  Doing this makes our packaging process slower as there is a higher risk for mistakes.  Our bows are READY TO SHIP meaning they will ship with 2-4 business days.  In order to get these packages out in the above time frame, we do not combine shipping even if your orders are combined into one package.

Our $5.99 ship fee does not cover the entire shipping expense.  When two or more orders are placed within the same business day, we will upgrade the shipping to priority should we combine your orders into one package.  NO REFUNDS.  I mean - HEY!  You get your packages quicker AND there is insurance on your package should it become lost or stolen.

Should this become an issue in the future, we will raise the hair bow and shipping prices to cover the extra shipping day(s) expense for our employees. 

Q:  "Your bows are G O R G E O U S … but will they last?"

GIRL!  It's not just a hair bow around here, we take it serious!  Each bow is handmade, hand sewn, and created with the highest quality materials!  We pride ourselves on the quality and durability of our designs. We want your little drama queen to wear our bows over and over again!

Q: “How soon will my order ship?”

Unless noted, all of our bows are READY TO SHIP {oh yeah!].  Our current process time is 2-4 business days, and then your bows will be mailed {in a box} via USPS First Class.  Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and should expect to receive them within 3-5 business days.  Oh, and it is totally ok to stalk your mail lady/gent!  We would too. 

Q: “Do you ship internationally?”

Currently we ship anywhere in the US as well as Canada, but we are working to expand our shipping internationally. 

Q: “Can I pick the orientation of the bow?”

All alligator clips will open to the RIGHT.  However, should you cart a custom order, you may request that we attach the alligator clip in the opposite direction {left side}.  

Q: “Do I need to create an account before checking out?”

Yes!  An account ensures you will have easy access to your order status, resourceful tools AND it helps us provide a fast and easier checkout process.

Q: “ What type of clips are on the bows?”

It depends on which size bow you are interested in purchasing.  For sizing and clip information, please check out our SIZING INFORMATION.  

Q: “Can I get barrettes/french clips instead of alligator clips?”

In order to offer READY TO SHIP bows, the clips will need to be attached beforehand.  Should you prefer a barrette, we will honor that request should you score/cart a CUSTOM ORDER.     

Q: “Ok, I'm obsessed!  How can I place a custom order?”

Custom Order spots will be available from time to time.  They will be released on the website with a price tag of $10.00, which will later be credited to your order total.  Custom orders may have quantity limits as they are more time consuming.  You may purchase up to ten (10) solid colored hair bows, two custom hair bows, or one Mascot/Team hair bow. 

Q: “What payment options do you accept?”

We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa debit/credit card payments as well as PayPal. We do not accept cash, personal checks, money orders, direct bank transfers or multiple forms of payment.

Q: “Will I be charged sales tax on my order? ”

If you're shipping your order to a Mississippi address, applicable sales tax will be added automatically.

Q: “How much is Shipping?”

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your bows and your location. The minimum shipping charge is $6.95.

Q: “Are your bows sewn or glued?”

All of our bows are hand sewn with thread and the knot is glued to the center of the bow and around the bow.  {unless your Hulk Hogan, you can't pull them apart}

Q: “Do you offer local pickup?”

Royal Mae Co. Orders
Local pickup is not available for Royal Mae Co. bows. These bows must stay beautifully bagged to hold their shape, and since pickups are done via a front door cart, there’s no safe way to store them outdoors for extended periods of time. Between wind, weather, and the occasional “I’ll grab it next week” situation, your bows could get knocked over, blown away, or otherwise less than perfect and that’s a risk we’re not willing to take.

🏟️ Prep Rally Orders
Local pickup is available for Prep Rally bows because they lay flat and can be safely bagged without fear of smooshing. If you’re ordering Prep Rally and want to pick up locally, simply use the LOCALPICKUP code at checkout.
Local pickup requests placed on Royal Mae Co. orders will not be honored.

There’s a pickup cart to the right of the front door so you can grab your order at your convenience. You’ll receive a text and/or email once your order is ready for pickup.

Pickup Window
Orders must be picked up within 7 business days. If an order hangs out longer than that, shipping will be invoiced and the order will head your way by mail instead.

🐶 Important (and slightly dramatic) Warning:
We have two boxer girls who take their job as home security very seriously. They have successfully scared Amazon drivers, delivery trucks, and the occasional unsuspecting visitor. Please don’t be alarmed, they come fully loaded with big barks, wiggle butts, and zero bite. They wouldn’t hurt a fly, but they will announce your arrival.

Q: “How can my daughter become a rep for RMCo?”

While we’d love for every girl to rep Royal Mae Co., we firmly believe in earning those stripes. Our Royal Reps receive exclusive perks including freebies, discounts on personal orders, inside information, release sneak peeks, and access to a behind-the-scenes bow mom rep squad.

That said, this is very much a you scratch my back, I scratch yours kind of contract. We have to fully believe that every Royal Rep duo (Mom + Daughter) can meet—and maintain the standard we’ve set.

Royal Rep responsibilities include:

  • Staying active in the Royal Mae Co. VIP Facebook group
  • Posting brag posts and engaging on fellow bow fam posts
  • Being available on release nights to interact and lend a hand
  • Providing clear, high-quality photos (aka “bow sneaks”) for social media and website use
  • Giving thoughtful feedback on future products and styles

Adding someone to the team is a big deal. There’s simply no room for anyone who can’t meet the bar that’s been set. Being a Royal Rep isn’t just about being a pretty girl who loves RMCo, it’s a J-O-B.

We are always on the lookout for our next Royal Rep and select based on VIP group engagement and order history. We’re looking for families who truly love and represent the brand.

Because of this, we do not accept applications to rep Royal Mae Co.
